Advisory Without Compromise
About Custodia Advisory
We started Custodia Advisory because the gap between what law firms bill and what institutions actually agree to pay is wider than most people are willing to say out loud.
Our background sits inside that gap — years spent on the inside of offshore legal billing, watching guidelines get written and then ignored, watching invoices get approved without being read. We know exactly how it happens, because we've seen it happen.
Custodia Advisory was built to stand on the other side of that table — auditing, enforcing, and holding the line on behalf of the institutions footing the bill.
More About Custodia Advisory
Our work extends past the audit itself. We train the teams who receive invoices day to day, build the internal controls that catch problems at source, and keep a standing eye on dormant entities that quietly accumulate fees long after they've served their purpose.
We don't publish a team page or a founder bio. Our clients work with us because of what we deliver, not who we are.
What drives us
The institutions we work with are sophisticated. Their legal spend should reflect that. When Outside Counsel Guidelines exist but go unenforced, when invoices move through procurement without scrutiny, when dormant entities sit on a register collecting fees no one has reviewed — that's not an oversight problem. It's a process problem. And process problems have solutions.
That's what Custodia does.
How we work
We operate with discretion as a given, not a selling point. Engagements are scoped to your specific exposure — whether that's a single spend audit, an OCG enforcement review, a procurement training programme, or ongoing quarterly oversight of dormant entities.
We don't do retainers for the sake of it. We do the work that needs doing, and we tell you what we find.
